Show your form at the moment you choose
A popup opens the form you already built over your page, at a moment you pick: as someone moves to leave, once they have scrolled part way down, after a set time, or when they go quiet. You choose it from a dropdown when you open the form, and the same embed you already use carries it.
What a popup can do
Every row is something you can check against us. The right-hand column names the setting that switches it on, which you find under Display settings when you open a form. The rest the popup does on its own.

What a popup will not do
When someone declines with the No thanks link, we keep the form shut for that visitor for 90 days, whatever you set for re-showing. We do not intercept the browser back button, so pressing back leaves your page the way the visitor expects.
Where your cookie banner comes in
We add no banner of our own to your site, because two banners on one page ask your visitor the same question twice. If you run one, name where it records its answer under Display settings and we read that answer before counting a popup view. When it says no we count nothing, and the popup still opens, so a visitor who wants the form can still fill it in. If someone turns tracking off while your page is open, the counting stops there and then. On a site with no banner at all, popup views are counted as usual, and our privacy notice says what that covers.

What a popup costs your page
The popup runs inside the same script your page already loads for the form, so switching it on downloads no second file. It adds about 7 KB to that script once compressed, and it brings no framework with it. That figure is measured on the file we ship.
